I am using a very old .XLS file that was protected with a password by a former employee. I would like to recover the VBA project password. Does anyone know how to do this programatically, using an editor, or anything completely free?
Get easy and simple method to remove VBA password from Excel 2013 file and access all the data that is locked at the time. VBA Password recovery leads to yields very effective results in a very short duration of time. Save the excel file and exit; Now, open the excel file you need to see the VBA code in. The password for the VBA code will simply be 123. The described method worked well for me a lot of time, but, if you try to paste the wrong number of bytes into the file, you will lose your VBA project when you try to open the file with Excel.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I need help with password retrieval or bypassing the password on a project that was done at work. The author has used MS Excel to do the project, and it's in the client's server. The server that we use has no access to Notepad++.
